Origin of Exclusive XQ is the village of Vrdnik, Serbia in the heart of National Park Fruška Gora (Alma Mons), with over 1700 years of wine-making history, this region is well known for it`s quality of grapes, dating from the days of Roman Empire. Our production of cognac began fifty years ago, based upon the principles of the finest liquor makers in Europe. All of our liquors come from a single-barrel, aged in a specially controlled enviroment for years, aiming for the perfect quality and balance of the distillate. Each bottle comes from the heart (middle) of the barrel, that is why it carries the XQ label. All of the barrels are used only once, after the cognac is bottled, barrels are used as firewood in the process of making a new batch of the distillate. Due to the limited production and unique quality of the drinks, we are offering about one hundred bottles a year to be sold.

The story of the Exclusive XQ

It all began over a half a century ago, when Vladislav Slavnic fell in love with the craftsmanship of the old liquor makers in his area. Continuing the family tradition, Vladislav became an educated distiller with university degree in food and drinks manufacturing technology and gained the experience working for a major liquor producers. Crafting of his skills resulted in the creation of Exclusive XQ, a brand of cognac made with love and care intended to be his legacy to the world in the years to come. Being a gifted calligrapher and designer, Vladislav painted every bottle by hand, and created unique boxes and cases for his cognac, transforming the liquor packaging into a unique piece of art.
